As ESG Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data, with a focus on carbon footprint calculations and emissions tracking. You will partner with various teams, like HR and Finance, to ensure that ESG metrics are accurately captured and reported, helping the organization meet its ESG goals and regulatory reporting requirements. Your role will involve data management, trend analysis and the creation of comprehensive ESG reports, all of which influence our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Data collection and management:
-
Collect sustainability and carbon emissions data from internal and external sources;

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems;

Maintain and update sustainability data management tools and spreadsheets.

Carbon accounting and analysis:
-
Calculating Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions using recognized frameworks (GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD, etc.).

Compliance and reporting:

Support ESG reporting by preparing data summaries and visualizations;

Support responses to investor and stakeholder ESG information requests;

Stay informed about industry regulations and reporting frameworks.

Collaboration and support:

Work closely with internal teams to support ESG initiatives and projects;

Contribute to improving data processes.

How about you?
-
You have 3+ years of experience in carbon accounting, ESG reporting, sustainability or a related field;
-
You have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, or a related field;

You have a strong understanding of carbon accounting principles (GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP);
-
You are proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms;

You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail and data accuracy;

You have the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively;

You are passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to the organization's ESG goals.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP, UNGC, CSRD);
-
Familiarity with carbon accounting tools or software.
