Job Description:

This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with corporate partners’ ESG and CSR priorities, positioning World Vision Mongolia as a trusted development organization and strategic partner. By cultivating and strengthening corporate partnerships, the role ensures sustainable resource mobilization that advances child protection, education, and community resilience, while enhancing donor trust through transparent reporting and measurable impact. The role underscores the critical importance of ESG and corporate collaboration with development organizations, demonstrating how shared values and joint investment can deliver transformative social and environmental outcomes.


CORPORATE FUNDRAISING AND ESG STARTEGY - 25%

  • Develop ESG-aligned corporate fundraising strategies and marketing materials that amplify private sector funding for environmental, social, and governance causes.
  • Map corporate ESG and CSR priorities and strategically align them with World Vision Mongolia’s organizational priorities, particularly the Mongolians to Mongolians (M2M) program and the needs of the most vulnerable children (MVC), ensuring partnerships directly contribute to sustainable development and child protection outcomes.
  • Design annual corporate engagement plans with clear targets, timelines, and impact indicators.
  • Position WV Mongolia as a trusted partner in sustainable development through advocacy and visibility initiatives.

PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT - 40%

  • Identify and cultivate new corporate partners through research, networking, and targeted outreach, ensuring due diligence throughout the engagement process.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements including MoUs, contracts, and joint initiatives.
  • Develop tailored proposals that highlight shared value creation and measurable impact.
  • Maintain transparent communication and visibility through regular updates, reports, and impact storytelling.
  • Steward long-term relationships to ensure donor retention and satisfaction.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL LIAISON - 15%

  • Liaise internally to ensure excellent quality standards are consistently upheld throughout project implementation, with donor expectations and compliance prioritized at every stage.
  • Proactively monitor and manage reputation risks in close collaboration internal teams, ensuring corporate partnerships and fundraising activities uphold transparency, donor trust, and organizational credibility.
  • Ensure effective cross‑departmental collaboration to integrate program design and delivery with corporate fundraising strategies, embedding them into World Vision Mongolia’s organizational priorities
  • Coordinate with Support Offices to align strategies and share best practices.
  • Ensure adherence of WV’s communications policy, standards, guidelines protocols and child protection policy and standards in all activities.
  • Oversee the corporate fundraising tracking and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) systems, ensuring accurate data management and effective internal coordination to strengthen accountability and decision‑making.
  • Manage contracts and partnership documentation, while leading the development and oversight of communication materials and content produced by the Resource Development Department, guaranteeing consistency, transparency, and alignment with organizational standards.

ESG INTEGRATION AND INNOVATION - 10%

  • Integrate ESG frameworks and up to date trends into all corporate fundraising initiatives.
  • Introduce innovative fundraising models such as blended financing, sustainability campaigns, green financing, and impact bonds.
  • Leverage digital platforms for corporate engagement and visibility.
  • Promote impact storytelling to showcase how corporate investments drive social and environmental change.

SUPPORT FOR BROADER FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES - 10%

  • Provide targeted assistance in grant proposal development when required, ensuring proposals are high‑quality, donor‑aligned, and strategically positioned to secure funding.
  • Strengthen mass market fundraising efforts by supporting campaigns and events that integrate corporate partners, expanding reach and diversifying income streams.
  • Deliver cross‑cutting support across fundraising initiatives to enhance organizational resource mobilization, ensuring synergy between corporate, grant, and sponsorship strategies.
