ESG Analyst

Interface is seeking an ESG Analyst to support the effective communication of our environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies to key stakeholders. As a leader in sustainability, Interface is committed to transparency. The ESG Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and effective disclosure to meet our strategic objectives and satisfy a variety of regulatory obligations and stakeholder needs.

The ESG Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing environmental, social and governance data and information primarily for external reporting. In addition, the ESG Analyst will conduct research and benchmarking analyses to guide decision-making and communication strategies. In this role, the ESG Analyst will report to the Director of ESG and collaborate with various functions across the global business. This role will require strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organization skills and comfort working in databases.

Position Responsibilities

• Collect ESG information and data from subject matter experts across the business, ensuring information is accurate and consistent
• Maintain ESG data in web-based ESG system including maintaining backup and documentation
• Conduct research and analysis including peer benchmarking and gap analysis to inform ESG disclosure strategy
• Support ESG disclosure and reporting efforts including the company's annual Impact Report and third-party questionnaires
• Support regulatory ESG reporting and audit, including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting
• Develop and maintain regular ESG updates for internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with global Sustainability, HR, Legal and Finance teams to collect, manage and evolve ESG reporting

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years experience (in sustainability, ESG reporting and analysis)
• Ability to collect, review and analyze a variety of data
• Strong organization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and proficient in Word and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of data management systems a plus
