Responsibilities:
• Work on global transformational projects, local deployment projects or change requests primarily in area of SAP Logistics, inventory management and Transportation.• A solid business understanding of supply chain logistics and inventoty management processes, combined with hands-on SAP configuration experience. Candidate should understandintegration points and dependencies between the SAP SCM components and other SAP ECC (mainly SD, FI and PP), S/4 HANA, SAP GTS, SAP eWM systems).• Participate in the design of roadmaps for product line, ensuring integration into the overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP eWM) and raising any issues related to the critical path of the product to the Product Owner, SCM SAP managers and ERP Platform counterparts.• Participate in the definition of user requirements, user stories, functional/technical specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows. Work closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and thirdparty providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.• Act as the 'go to' SCM Logistics specialist for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess strong knowledge of both business and technology regarding SAP SCM Logistics solutions and developments.• Lead resolution of complex problems with a global impact on the business and identify opportunities to streamline business and/or layered system processes and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
Actively engage with the release and engagement teams, major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and
continuous improvement as required.• Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respective tareas.• Train junior consultants and actively hand over knowledge to other team members
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain or equivalent.• Minimum 4-5 years of SAP functional, configuration experience in SAP ECC MM/LE, ideally good awareness of WM/eWM as well, integration through interfaces using EDI /
SOAP.• Practical experience with 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects for global clients• Working experience from major consulting companies focusing on implementation of SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA• Experience with role of Leading consultant that should ensure design, delivery and implementation of complex Supply chain - Logistics solutions with focus on Intercompany,
Inventory management and Distribution & Logistics.• Experience with implementing major third-party systems (3PL & 4PL warehouses, Transportation management systems).• Experience with data migration tools and data migration strategy on following objects: Purchase orders, Materials, Vendors, Customers, PIR, Routes, Transfer prices ...• Ability to lead the team that would consist of junior consultants, ensure their proper engagement, utilization and knowledge growth during the project run.• Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.• Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements, cost estimation/economics, develop workflow processes and manage business relationships altogether with ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
Experience with SDLC methodology, including tasks like develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation, and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements• In special cases, willingness to travel (usually 1-2 weeks during Fit & Gap design phase or UAT testing/Training phase) or work in different time zone, during mentioned phases.
Desired:
• Practical experience and decent understanding of SAP LETRA (or SAP TM) module• Practical experience and decent understanding of SAP SD module• Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.• SAP certification within module and/or technology.• Experience with working with multiple teams across a matrixed organization to implement solutions.
