Responsibilities

  • Work on global transformational projects, local deployment projects or change requests primarily in area of SAP Finance (FI-GL; FI-AP; FI-AR; Treasury; CO)
  • A solid business understanding of Finance/Controlling processes, combined with hands-on SAP configuration experience. Candidate should understand integration points and dependencies between the SAP FI/CO components and other SAP ECC (mainly SD, MM and PP), S/4 HANA).
  • Participate in the design of roadmaps for product line, ensuring integration into the overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA) and raising any issues related to the critical path of the product to the Product Owner, Finance SAP managers and ERP Platform counterparts
  • Participate in the definition of user requirements, user stories, functional/technical specifications and the update/review of Design Papers and process flows. Work closely with the key business and IT stakeholders and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Act as the 'go to' person for stakeholders and liaison/driver for business community. Possess strong knowledge of both business and technology regarding ERP solutions and developments. Propose best practice change and business support.
  • Ensure that all system changes and projects adhere to Takeda standard integrated design, build and deployment processes. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed and communicated.
  • Lead resolution of complex problems with a global impact on the business and identify opportunities to streamline business and/or layered system processes and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices.
  • Actively engage with the release and engagement teams, major programs ensuring active adoption and deployment of product line capabilities. Support active engagements and
    continuous improvement as required.
  • Partner with countries and key business stakeholders to lead the identification of changes in business and the initial drafting of end user stories.
  • Contribute to the development of the strategy for the Finance ERP team as a whole.
  • Ensure alignment with Business Process Owners and IT Business Partners to drive engagement, process design, prioritization and deployment support across the respective areas.
  • Support business priorities by proactively identifying changes in business and the technology landscape that would impact the ERP portfolio (SAP FI/CO, Concur, BlackLine and other ERP systems)
  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic input into ERP Finance functional areas and technologies, contributing to future ERP strategic direction and system selection/deployment decisions
  • Responsible for identification and communication of required skills and training opportunities to Product Line Lead
  • Mentor and develop more junior team members within SAP Finance on technical/process areas


Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6+ years of SAP functional, configuration experience in FI (FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP; CO), Taxes, Asset management
  • Practical experience with 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementation projects for global clients
  • Manage and configure new SAP capabilities and proto-type solutions to determine fit for meeting stated business requirements
  • Experience in FI/CO integration with other modules including Sales and Distribution, Material Management and, Supply Chain, Intercompany.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Experience with data migration tools and data migration strategy on finance related objects
  • Understanding of legal, regulatory and local country requirements that affect the ERP Finance solution
  • Design ERP Finance interfaces with other applications including an understanding of Takeda's middleware solutions that provide these capabilities
  • Project management experience, including management of full lifecycle implementations for major application implementation.
  • Ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
  • Ability to set priorities, develop workflow processes and manage business and provider relationships.
  • Extensive experience with SDLC methodology and the validation process, including writing deliverables for validated systems.


Desired:

  • Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
  • SAP certification within module and/or technology.
  • Experience with working with multiple teams across a matrixed organization to implement solutions.
  • Experience in S4/HANA implementation

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is €3850 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
