We are seeking an experienced ERP Technical Lead – Epicor Kinetic to take ownership of the technical direction, development and optimisation of our Epicor Kinetic platform. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the design and delivery of high-quality ERP solutions, integrations and customisations that support critical business operations across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance and commercial functions.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams and external partners, you will play a key role in shaping our ERP roadmap, ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable and aligned to wider business and IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Epicor Kinetic customisations, workflows, extensions and integrations.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable and upgrade-safe technical solutions.
- Establish and promote development standards, best practices and governance across the ERP platform.
- Develop and maintain Epicor Kinetic functionality including BPMs, BAQs, Epicor Functions, dashboards, UI customisations and UD table extensions.
- Design, build and support integrations using Epicor REST APIs, Service Connect, CADLink and other middleware technologies.
- Drive automation opportunities across deployment, testing and environment management processes.
- Support data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation and loading of business-critical data.
- Ensure the reliability, performance and integrity of ERP solutions through robust testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to developers and technical partners.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and PMO teams to deliver ERP solutions that drive operational excellence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Extensive hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic, including BPMs, BAQs, Epicor Functions, form customisation and ICE framework development.
- Strong development background in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth and Git-based development practices.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations using Epicor REST API, Service Connect, CADLink and middleware platforms.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP processes, including engineering structures, BOMs, routings, inventory, supply chain, finance and order fulfilment.
- Experience with SQL performance optimisation, data migration, data management and troubleshooting complex ERP environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, test automation and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience within Formula One, high-performance motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering environments would be highly advantageous.
