Position Summary:

The ERP Systems Analyst (Manufacturing Operations) is responsible for maintaining transactional continuity and operational stability within Aptean Ross ERP and related integration systems. This role serves as a critical liaison between business operations and IT, resolving system-state issues that impact production, fulfillment, and financial workflows with a focus on sales order processing, EDI transactions, and label generation. This position is designed as a succession role with a structured knowledge transfer period, transitioning into full ownership of ERP operational support responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Aptean Ross ERP Transaction Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve order processing errors within Aptean Ross ERP, including sales orders, purchase orders, and production-related transactions.

• Address locked transactions, workflow interruptions, and document state inconsistencies within Ross.

• Perform controlled data corrections and transaction resets to restore operational continuity.

• Monitor recurring Ross ERP issues and identify systemic root causes.

• Validate data integrity across order, inventory, and financial modules within Ross.

• Work with end users to define issues and work with vendor support to resolve them.

EDI & System Integration Support

• Diagnose and resolve EDI transmission failures and transaction mismatches impacting Aptean Ross.

• Monitor EDI queues and confirm successful transaction flow between Ross and external trading partners.

• Coordinate with operations and external partners to resolve order acknowledgments, ASN discrepancies, and invoice transmission issues.

• Escalate structural integration defects to internal development resources or Aptean/vendor support when required.

• Work with vendors to onboard new EDI trading partners.

Labeling & Document Output Management

• Troubleshoot label generation failures and printer communication issues within the manufacturing labeling system.

• Support configuration and maintenance of label formats tied to production and shipping workflows, including the flow of data stored in Ross ERP.

• Address system-generated document and print queue issues impacting purchase orders, case labels, LPNs, and shipping/receiving labels.

Operational Continuity & Process Improvement

• Identify high-frequency ticket categories related to Ross ERP and integrated applications and recommend workflow refinement or automation.

• Develop and maintain resolution documentation specific to Aptean Ross, labeling, and EDI.

• Support cross-training initiatives to reduce single points of dependency.

• Participate in system improvement initiatives to reduce reactive ERP support volume.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

• 3–5 years of ERP support experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

• Experience supporting transactional workflows within a structured ERP platform.

• Working knowledge of EDI transaction processing.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting capability in production-facing systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively with operations, finance, and supply chain teams, as well as outside vendor support teams.

Preferred

• Direct experience with Aptean Ross ERP.

• Experience supporting Loftware labeling software.

• SQL and Gembase DML coding knowledge for transactional data validation and customizations.

• Exposure to manufacturing labeling environments and barcode workflows.

• Experience working with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) in a support or escalation context.

Benefits Overview

Competitive base salary ($90,000 to 120,000 annually). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package, including medical/ vision/ dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards, including an annual incentive program based on individual and company performance.
