ERP System Support Analyst
Fire Safety and Protection is seeking an ERP System Support Analyst to become an important part of a rapidly growing team. The ERP System Support Analyst will report to the Manager of Business Information Systems and is responsible for assistance with the ongoing support and implementation of Vista Construction by Viewpoint software. This role involves collaborating with various branches and departments to understand business needs, provide technical support, and ensure that the Vista Construction by Viewpoint system is effectively utilized to drive business performance along with other systems and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support:
- Provide day-to-day support for Vista Construction by Viewpoint system users, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
- Coordinate regular system maintenance, including testing software updates and patch management
- Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure system reliability. Assist in the integration of Vista Construction by Viewpoint with other enterprise systems and data sources and reporting tools.
System Implementation:
- Assist with the implementation of the Vista Construction by Viewpoint system, including planning, configuration, and deployment.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into system functionalities.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful system rollout.
- Configure the Vista Construction by Viewpoint system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up workflows, forms, and reports.
Training & Documentation:
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Vista system.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and system configuration records.
- Stay updated on new Vista Construction by Viewpoint features and functionalities, and proactively communicate updates to the relevant teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or related work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP system implementation and support, preferably with Vista Construction by Viewpoint and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Vista by Viewpoint system configuration, capabilities, and support.
- Ideal candidate would have:
- Strong understanding of construction management processes and how they are supported by ERP systems.
- Experience with SQL and report writing tools, such as Crystal Reports or SSRS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimal travel required but ability to travel within US and Canada.
- Work full-time.
