Higher Education ERP Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager with a strong background in leading enterprise software implementations in higher education environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing ERP projects such as Workday, Oracle Cloud, Banner, or PeopleSoft, and a deep understanding of academic operations, stakeholder engagement, and change management in a university setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, from planning and initiation through deployment and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, HR, student services, and academic departments.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and ensure contractual obligations and service levels are met.
• Apply change management strategies to support user adoption and process transformation.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, data governance, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of project management experience with at least 3 years focused on ERP implementations in higher education.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
• Proven track record with systems such as Workday, Oracle Cloud, Banner, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
