Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on Project Manager with strong ERP implementation experience and a background in applications. This role will support the Program Manager responsible for a large business transformation program with the greenfield implementation and roll-out of the IFS Cloud ERP package. The successful candidate will lead project activities across design, build, testing, and communication phases, ensuring delivery within time and cost constraints. The assignment is for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: taking responsibility of the planning of the IFS Cloud project.
- Bring and maintain structure
- Vendor management: Support Program Manager managing the system integrator making sure Tomra's interests are the priority.
- Manage project lifecycle with support of the SI: design, build, testing, communication, and delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across global time zones.
- Oversee project costs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure effective collaboration in an unstructured, evolving environment.
- Facilitate integration with manufacturing processes and CRM tools (D365 experience is a plus).
- Clear, structured and timely report out to the program manager.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in ERP implementations in discrete manufacturing (machinery).
- Proven experience working within a team of several project managers and change managers all part of a larger business transformation program.
- Understand and anticipate on communication needs towards all core project team members.
- Meticulous in basic project control mechanisms, use of governance tools and platforms, documentation discipline.
- Strong application background and ability to work hands-on.
- Comfortable working in unstructured or less mature organizations.
- Flexible for global time zones and occasional travel (approx. 15%).
- Solid understanding of discrete manufacturing processes.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Some experience as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst.
- Ability to manage design, build, testing, and communication phases.
- Familiarity with change management and training practices.
- Prepared to work on a greenfield roll-out with IFS Cloud ERP.
- Knowledge of D365 CRM tools is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong power point skills.
- Strong customer orientation.
