Description
BLOX is revolutionizing the construction industry by integrating advanced manufacturing principles with
innovative technology to deliver high-quality, modular building solutions. We are driven by a mission to rethink
how buildings are designed, fabricated, and delivered, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on ERP Lead to own and advance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC),
the system that connects BLOX’s finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project accounting operations.
Because BLOX designs, manufactures, and constructs buildings through one integrated Design
Manufacture – Construct (DMC) model, BC sits at the center of how materials are purchased, how modules
are produced on our factory floor, and how costs are tracked across active construction projects.
This is a permanent role where you’ll serve as both architect and practitioner: designing solutions, configuring
BC, and guiding the system as BLOX continues to grow. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology,
you’ll work closely with leaders across the business, shaping processes through your expertise and servant
leadership. At BLOX, we work fast, collaborate across disciplines, and expect systems and people to scale
together.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as the solution architect and hands-on owner of Business Central, accountable for its design,
configuration, and overall health.
• Configure BC to align with BLOX’s finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project accounting
processes.
• Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable solutions, prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality
before customization.
• Direct light development efforts (AL, extensions) where configuration alone cannot deliver, including
scoping the work and reviewing output from internal or partner developers.
• Document BC standards, configurations, and workflows to support user adoption, compliance, and audit
readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders across design, manufacturing, construction, and finance, influencing process
design through expertise and collaboration.
• Collaborate with the WEVR Solution Architect on integrations between BC and BLOX’s manufacturing
execution system (MES), the WEVR platform, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Train and support users to maximize adoption and effective use of BC.
• Stay current on the BC product roadmap and release waves, communicating relevant updates and their
impact to stakeholders.
• Contribute to BLOX’s longer-term ERP maturity, with the potential to build and lead a small ERP/BC team
as the company scales.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) solution design and implementation experience.
• Proven ability to configure BC across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and project/job accounting.
• Strong grasp of BC development concepts (AL, extensions) and the ability to direct developers effectively.
• Background in business process design, with an emphasis on leveraging out-of-the-box ERP functionality.
• Experience in high-growth or dynamic environments where systems evolve quickly.
• Familiarity with compliance contexts, including SOX IT general controls (ITGC) and audit readiness.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting ERP in a manufacturing, construction, or engineer-to-order environment.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (MB-800) or
equivalent.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and BC integrations through
APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Benefits:
BLOX offers the full spectrum of comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. We
also offer flexible spending accounts, paid time off, short term disability, long term disability, life insurance and
a 401k plan.
BLOX believes in the growth of our people. We provide support for employees pursuing licenses/certifications,
creating clear pathways for skill development and career advancement.
BLOX, LLC is committed to making employment decisions based on an individual’s qualifications,
performance, and ability to contribute to our team. We provide equal employment opportunities to all
