ERP Lead Consultant

Location: Cascais, Lisbon Area - Portugal
Kind of position: Full time, permanent
Modality: Hybrid.

Do you have strong business analysis and skills and feel motivated to work with the core of a business to improve and optimize processes, to help the organization meet its objectives and goals?

Open Source Integrators is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support our customer's success through high value tailored services, forming a team with a partnership attitude.

The ideal candidate will be someone with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders, concluding company executives, and elicit, analyze and validate requirements for changes to processes, information systems and policies, and coordinate a team of professionals to deliver ERP systems delivering on these promises.


Responsibilities

  • Solution owner: responsible for scope, testing and overall project quality (UAT, UI, user experience). Define test cases and map requirements against test cases, then support testing and validation of requirements during implementation.
  • Analysis: analyze processes and use  critical thinking to go beyond the initially stated business problem. Ask the right questions, use active listening to gain deep understanding. Structure ambiguous problems and take action to resolve them. Anticipate future needs and help sequence the present and future. Define or deepen your area of expertise to become an industry leader in your area of knowledge.
  • Customer orientation: dive in (on-site as needed) to quickly understand optimization issues, be comfortable operating in high-pressure situations, communicate calmly and effectively, align people and provide confidence to the customer, and translate needs to the team to do what is needed. 
  • Functional design: examine the scope, break it down into requirements and create a minimum viable product with the best set of functional requirements. Use skills and tools to communicate workflows and processes in various formats: whiteboards, flowcharts, mind maps and other process definition tools, etc.

Skills

  • Familiar with Accounting and Finance processes.
  • Familiar with Inventory and materials management processes.
  • Strong and effective 360-degree communicator (up and down, and with peers) with the ability to influence and inspire others while interacting with confidence and ease.
  • Deep analytical skills to analyze processes and articulate them.
  • UAT/UI Knowledge.
  • Highly organized.
  • Clear understanding of the big picture: company and project mission with a systems level approach.
  • Ability to work independently but also maintain a strong team player demeanor. Humility trumps self-importance, self-promotion or arrogance.
  • Expert in negotiation and consensus building.
  • Must be accountable to all parties involved in the project; take ownership of the solution.
  • High sense of integrity. Will do whatever it takes to deliver on commitments. Honesty and integrity are at stake.
  • A customer and user-centric view is required.
  • Be able to identify new customer requirements or needs. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's studies (graduate), with preference for business administration. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience in services, business, consulting, technology (preferable).
  • Languages: professional Portuguese and English. Spanish or French are a plus.

Salary

Salary to negotiate, depending on experience.
