ERP Functional Consultant

As our ERP Finance Functional consultant, you enable the organizational growth and digitalization of ERP Finance solutions in GN.

Over the last 1,5 year we have implemented D365FO as our new cloud-based ERP platform in two of our business domains. With this implementation we will work towards one common ERP platform across the GN Group – by which you assist us with our purpose of Bring People Closer.

The team you will be part of:

At our global HQ located in Ballerup, Denmark, you report to Director, Finance Solutions, Esther Veenman-Jensen.

You will join our cross-functional and international ERP Finance team, consisting of Functional Consultants, Architects and Delivery Leads within our global Group IT function.

The team is overall responsible for designing and ensuring finance automation solutions enabling the end users can work in most optimal way in our ERP solution. We are developing the GN ERP Finance expert team to secure continuous improvement, integrate new sites, and support Finance processes.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will together with your colleagues:

• Design and ensure the right solution by translating business process requirements into system setup.

• As technical SME you challenge the defined business requirements and related business processes to fit standard ERP processes.

• Provide input to D365FO Finance processes and change management initiatives supporting implementation and adoption of the solution implemented.

• Support documentation, testing and training of super users of D365FO.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in both Denmark and abroad.

We appreciate your background and ERP experience, and we think the following traits will aid you in the role:

• A higher educational background within business management, administration, finance, technology or a related field of study.

• A few years of relevant experience from an inhouse finance, accounting or controlling function, or alternatively from a consultancy company within finance, Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform: You may also be a newly graduate with an interest in Finance and IT.

• An interest in acquiring more knowledge about applying business processes into D365FO.

• The ability to handle data and Excel analyses.

• Business process understanding and can "translate" this understanding into system and data flow diagrams.

• Is a focused person and follows tasks through from start to finish.

• The ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English and Danish and that you can work in a collaborative cross-functional work environment within our Finance and IT departments.
