As an Oracle Functional Analyst in our IT Group, you will serve as both a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a Project Lead, responsible for driving Oracle Financials, Distribution, and Supply Chain initiatives from requirements gathering through successful project delivery in a large enterprise IT environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to manage the complete project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
The ERP Functional Analyst must be proficient in GL, AP, AR, CM, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting and the accounting flows across these modules. The role requires strong knowledge of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes and their integration points.
What you'll be doing:
Act as the Functional SME for Oracle EBS Financials while providing strategic guidance to business stakeholders.
Lead and manage Oracle-related projects from concept, requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production support through final delivery.
Partner with business users to define project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and success criteria.
Drive project planning, status tracking, stakeholder communications, issue resolution, and overall project governance.
Provide user support in troubleshooting both application and business process issues.
Document business processes using standard business process and data flow diagrams.
Analyze business requirements and operational procedures to develop functional specifications and system solutions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical developers, business users, vendors, and support teams, to ensure successful project execution.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Conduct user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and support business adoption of new solutions.
Identify and document application integration requirements.
Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve business processes and system capabilities.
Enhance process flows, documentation, and Oracle support procedures to improve user efficiency and competency.
Manage enhancement requests, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a stable and accurate Oracle Applications production environment that meets business requirements.
Create, manage, and coordinate Oracle Support (Metalink) Service Requests as needed.
Ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards, business expectations, and project objectives.
What We're Looking For:
12+ years of experience in Oracle Applications functional consulting, business analysis, and project delivery.
Proven experience leading Oracle ERP projects from initiation through successful implementation and production stabilization.
Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, CM, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting - Costing and Billing.
Deep knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and related business processes.
Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders, driving requirements workshops, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business, finance, operations, and IT leadership.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle ERP solutions and drive projects through delivery and business adoption.
