This position is responsible for working with leadership to execute the business strategy for ERAS by building relationships with key external and internal stakeholders, focusing on improving the customer experience, and ensuring all ERAS products are meeting user needs. This role will drive ERAS’s go-to-market strategy on new enhancements, including owning competitive intelligence, key messaging, and positioning our products and services. The Manager will partner with Product Management, Communications, and other colleagues to impart market insights from current customers and the competitive field to shape our product/solution strategy and build awareness of ERAS products and solutions. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter, a strong collaborator, and a strategic thinker who also enjoys rolling up their sleeves.

How will you make an impact?

Strategy Execution

  • In coordination with the ERAS leadership team, assist in executing the program’s strategic plan to ensure the successful implementation of the strategic initiatives. 

  • Actively participate in and when necessary lead segmentation and account management activities. Understand and stay well informed of trends that may impact the application cycle and Graduate Medical Education. 

  • Provide guidance to the ERAS Product Team relating to priorities and suggested enhancements. 

  • Lead the development and delivery of ERAS presentations during internal or external meetings. 

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate and engage with various teams within ERAS and the AAMC to ensure the development of application components and policies which support user needs and focus on the voice of the customer. 

  • Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensure we are using the proper channels for communications and trainings. 

  • Represent ERAS at external constituent meetings including program specialty meetings, business partners meetings, student related organizations, and AAMC hosted meetings.

Training and Resource Development

  • Lead the development of a user training strategy that supports ERAS stakeholders and aligns with the outreach and engagement strategy. 

  • Assist with the development of content materials and tools to be used by ERAS stakeholders. 

  • Develop, collate and maintain a knowledge base of reference materials and information on a variety of topics which supports external and internal customers. 

  • Define and implement content management and authoring processes to ensure the appropriate quality of material developed and contributed by content creators. 

Process and Program Improvement

  • Based on findings from user feedback, focus groups, relevant meeting attendance/presentations, survey data, and other user interactions, suggest and implement improved processes relating to engagement strategies and other ERAS initiatives. 

  • Develop a cadence for updating and evaluating account management plans.

  • Assist with reviewing, revising, and formulating ERAS processes and policies that improve the user experience and ensure equity among all stakeholders.

  • Use data-driven insights to measure performance, assure quality, drive improvement activities, or identify new opportunities. 

  • Support the ERAS product team by guiding the product roadmap to ensure value is delivered to users.

  • Document and maintain effective and efficient processes for Salesforce procedures and policies.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, branding, or similar field

  • 8+ years of business/marketing or graduate medical education experience

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Hands-on practitioner of product marketing – strategy and execution

  • Oversee and manage projects that span multiple departments

  • Solid analytical and research skills

  • Skilled facilitator who can bring together groups who have competing priorities

  • Proven leadership, with an ability to lead others and develop a high-performing team

  • Ability to take direction and work independently to deliver results

 

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

Compensation Grade Range and Mid-Point

Grade Range:$102,900.00 - $191,100.00/ Grade Mid-Point:$147,000.00

The above annual compensation range and mid-point are general guidelines. For candidates who meet the criteria, the AAMC's compensation philosophy is to target the midpoint of the salary range. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
