Position Summary

Equity Plan Administrator and Executive Compensation Analyst manages L&W’s global equity compensation programs- ensuring accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with employees and cross-functional teams. Oversees the data input and output of Equity System, documentation of equity processes, and data oversight for accuracy and reporting. Completes compensation analysis for the Executive Compensation leader.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of all equity plans (stock options, RSUs, PSUs, ESPPs, etc.), including processing new grants, exercises, terminations, and releases.

  • Data Management & Reconciliation: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the equity plan database (using platforms like Shareworks, Fidelity, etc.) and perform regular reconciliations of records between stock administration, HR, payroll, and the transfer agent.

  • US Compliance & Reporting (Australian Compliance & Reporting is a plus): Ensure compliance with all U.S. and international securities laws, tax regulations (IRS, SEC), and internal controls (SOX 404). Assist with data gathering and review for SEC filings (Form 4, 10-K, proxy statements) and support internal and external audits.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including Legal, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless transaction processing and accurate financial reporting (e.g., ASC 718 expense).

  • Employee Support and Education: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding equity awards, taxation, and plan participation. Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and webinars to help employees understand their benefits.

  • Project Management (PMO) and Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in stock plan administration. Lead projects, timelines and deliverables with key stakeholders: legal, finance, treasury, accounting, PCBP teams, HRIS, IT and outside Equity vendor.

  • Special Projects: Support corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and assist with ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in stock plan administration, with a publicly traded U.S. company with a total of 7-8 years of compensation experience.

  • Global Acumen: experience supporting or leading equity programs across a global employee base and leading platform transitions involving international teams.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferrable but not required.

  • Certifications: A Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is highly valued or preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in equity administration software (e.g., Fidelity, Equity Edge Online/Morgan Stanley at Work, Shareworks) and strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) are essential. Experience with AUS-based Computershare/EquatePlus is a big advantage but not required. Understanding the differences between platforms that are full brokerage vs. only equity administration and the processes required for shareholders to trade.

  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of various equity award types and a strong understanding of U.S. federal and state taxation, global tax considerations, and accounting rules related to equity compensation.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, the ability to manage confidential information, and effective communication skills are critical.
