As a Senior Vice President within our Equity Derivatives Middle Office team, you will lead a trading services organization responsible for end-to-end post-trade support and control execution while driving global transformation initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen risk and control discipline, and modernize the operating model to better support business growth and client needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a people manager-led organization, setting clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations
  • Manage day-to-day post-trade support across the equity derivatives lifecycle, ensuring timely, accurate execution and escalation when needed
  • Execute and evidence operational controls within required timelines and governance expectations
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the trading lifecycle to support new business initiatives, including control and process design
  • Coordinate delivery of strategic initiatives and system modernization efforts, including process re-engineering and operating model change
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls, and operational architecture, reinforcing a culture of operational excellence
  • Maintain working knowledge of equity derivatives trading structures to assess operational impact and support effective decision-making
  • Collaborate with risk, finance, legal, and collateral partners to manage downstream impacts and resolve issues efficiently
  • Promote a “one team” culture across operations and infrastructure partners to improve outcomes and reduce handoffs

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in an equity derivatives environment with demonstrated product knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and team development
  • Experience leading or materially contributing to large-scale global strategic initiatives
  • Experience delivering transformation and/or system modernization programs (for example: platform change, workflow digitization, control redesign, operating model transformation)
  • Knowledge of derivatives product offerings and client requirements sufficient to manage business demand and priorities
  • Knowledge of end-to-end post-trade operations processes (including confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting)
  • Experience driving issue identification, escalation, and resolution across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Experience partnering with infrastructure and control functions (for example: finance, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, legal, collateral) and assessing downstream impacts
  • Proficiency in data analysis for operational decision-making, with demonstrated numerical capability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience using automation tools such as VBA for operational workflows and reporting

  • Experience leading multi-year change programs across a front-to-back trading operating model
  • Experience improving control frameworks through simplification, automation, and measurable outcome tracking
  • Experience operating in a regional or multi-location coverage model with distributed teams and stakeholders
