Equity Delta-One & TRF Trader Job Description – Geneva Trading

How You Can Make an Impact

Geneva Trading is seeking an experienced trader to inject advanced expertise and strategic vision into our expanding equity trading desk. In this pivotal role, you will drive the growth of our equity business by developing and executing sophisticated trading strategies focused on Total Return Futures (TRFs) and Dividend Futures. If you possess a deep understanding of equity forward dynamics, financing/repo curves, and dividend risk, this is an opportunity to directly impact a scaling, high-performance environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop, deploy, and manage new, alpha-generating trades and strategies within the TRF and dividend futures space.
  • Risk & Portfolio Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize portfolio risk, actively managing financing/repo legs and dividend exposure within established risk parameters.
  • Market Arbitrage: Proactively identify and capture mispricing between OTC instruments and newly listed contracts.
  • Quantitative Collaboration: Partner closely with team members and quantitative researchers to design robust pricing models and actionable data tools.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in a Delta-One, equity swap, or dividend trading role.
  • Technical Market Expertise: Deep, nuanced knowledge of equity forward mechanics, financing/repo curves, and dividend risk management.
  • Data Literacy: Exceptional data literacy with a proven comfort manipulating large datasets to rigorously evaluate market pricing and risk metrics.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional Skills: Professional poise backed by excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a collaborative trading environment.

Benefits and Compensation:

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 +  Eligible for semi-annual discretionary bonus.

The final salary determination will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
