Job Description
This opportunity provides you with a first-class investment banking and equity capital markets experience at J.P. Morgan.
As an origination assistant within the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team, you will work with investment banking professionals side-by-side, and take part in origination and execution of equity capital markets transactions.
For you to qualify for this role, you should be in your junior / senior year of college / university (well-prepared sophomore acceptable). Business, Economics, or Accounting majors are preferred, but the position is open to students in other fields of study as well.

Job responsibilities
  • Support origination and execution of equity capital markets business
  • Conduct research on the macroeconomic environment, global and Korea equity markets, industries, companies, and products
  • Assist with production of marketing and deal materials, as well as with financial analysis
  • Produce English / Korean translations
  • Support other investment banking and equity capital markets business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • College / university junior / senior class (well-prepared sophomore acceptable)
  • Academic background in Business, Economics, or Accounting
  • Strong English / Korean communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of global and Korea equity markets and macroeconomic environment
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
