Job Summary:
Arcosa Aggregates is seeking an Equipment Tech based out of our Canal Point, FL plant. This role is responsible for performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and general mechanical work to support the safe and reliable operation of plant and mobile equipment.
Day to Day
- Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
- Comply with all safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
- Perform housekeeping around the plant and on heavy mobile equipment within a mining environment.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain optimal performance.
- Perform and support basic preventative maintenance on production and plant equipment.
- Utilize additional skills such as welding, cutting, and fabrication (preferred, not required).
- Maintain strong communication and coordination with plant employees and equipment operators.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
- Positive, Team-based attitude
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Min 2 years’ experience
Working Conditions
While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
