Equipment Communication & Software Integration
- Integrate software with both new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Work with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) communication protocols.
- Develop equipment data collection and signal handshaking mechanisms.
Factory Automation Platform Development
- Develop and maintain system integrations among MES (Manufacturing Execution System), CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing), EAP (Equipment Automation Program), and AMHS (Automated Material Handling System).
- Design and develop APIs for cross-system data exchange.
Cross-System Integration Testing
- Lead integration testing for new equipment before production release.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability across both OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology) environments.
Database & Data Analysis
- Utilize SQL for database querying and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system logs, analyze production-related issues, and optimize system performance.
Production Support
- Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting automation-related software and hardware issues.
- Ensure stable and efficient factory operations during mass production.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, display, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
Programming Skills
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems (e.g., Mitsubishi, Siemens).
- Experience in PLC-to-host communication integration.
- Proficiency in C# development.
System Knowledge
- Good understanding of MES, CIM, EAP, and AMHS operational concepts and system integration methodologies.
Database Skills
- Strong SQL Server knowledge.
- Experience developing Stored Procedures and writing complex SQL queries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SECS/GEM (SEMI standard) communication protocol development.
- Knowledge of IoT connectivity, Modbus Gateway, or SCADA systems.
- Experience integrating SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
- Python programming experience is a plus.
