THE OPPORTUNITY
This role provides the opportunity to diagnose equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure the local Dillard’s Distribution Center and Dillard’ stores receive prompt support to keep equipment operating efficiently.
THE TEAM
This role is part of the Equipment Service Team within the Dillard’s Information Technology Department. This team supports all of the Dillard’s store point of sale equipment, while providing onsite support to the local Dillard’s Distribution Centers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide technical support for distribution center operations and local Fort Worth Carrier shipped Dillard’s stores.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot thermal printers, laser printers, workstations, and Uninterruptible Power Supply systems.
- Manage the inbound and outbound movement of equipment, ensuring accurate tracking, inventory control, and timely distribution to local Fort Worth Carrier stores.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and deployments while maintaining accurate asset records.
- Work closely with store personnel and distribution center teams to ensure reliable equipment performance and timely issue resolution.

- The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and/or with a team.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Available to travel on occasion.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
THE “NICE-TO-HAVES”
- A+ Certification Preferred
- Will be required to pass the A+ certification tests within six months of hire date.
Location & Hours: This is a full-time, on-site position located at our Olathe KS headquarters. A high level of attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
