Position Summary:
The EPCOR (Epcoritamab - NHL - Hematology) Product Manager of Genmab KK (Japan) will be responsible for brand planning and tactics execution of Genmab KK’s first marketed product, Epkinly, in the Japanese market. The position is heavily involved in working with both global and local internal cross-functional stakeholders as well as key external stakeholders, to ensure timely activity planning and execution excellence to achieve the Best-in-Class position of Epkinly.
Primary roles & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-
Commercialization planning including market and opportunity assessments:
Plan and execute the commercial process in collaboration with the Global/Japan development/medical teams and Global commercial leads (and Finance, when needed) based upon relevant disease and target product profiles, competitive landscapes, patient flow, buying patterns and other key stakeholders within the value chain
Responsible for the comprehensive Epkinly Japan market assessment, commercial strategy development, and key tactics execution:
Ensure a Best-in-Class commercialization of Epkinly in the Japan market
by developing and/or reassessing the commercialization brand plan of Epkinly (Marketing execution readiness/tracking plans) working closely with key global and local stakeholders (e.g., R&D clinical teams, medical teams, regulatory, QA/CMC/supply chain, safety and market access leads). He/she is also to collaborate with appropriate external co-development/commercialization partner company leads during the process
Conduct periodic NHL market assessments by obtaining and generating critical insights via primary/secondary market research, KOL consultations and other appropriate sources to further validate and fine-tune the strategy & tactics to be executed Plan and execute ongoing competitive/business intelligence screening in order to accurately assess/maximize Epkinly’s market opportunities and prepare for potential competitive threats Conduct sales forecasting, post-launch actual sales tracking, and produce ongoing latest estimate exercises throughout the year Co-develop and execute effective KOL mapping assessment, engagement & development plans, including incubation of emerging next generation KOLs working closely with the Medical team Facilitate the Brand Team Task Force - work closely with key cross-functional leads, including partner companies if applicable, to achieve optimal Epkinly brand management. Ensure field operation execution excellence:
Periodically reassess the optimal hematology field force team design and allocation plan in collaboration with Commercial Excellence and Sales.
Develop and execute operational tactics plan including KOL management
Develop and implement a detailed field force activity guidance plan (i.e. account opening target plan, call execution plan, safety reporting requirement fulfilment plan)
Develop KPIs to measure success & implement timely corrective actions where/when needed (i.e., Brand KPIs; launch tracking dashboard)
Manage and track the brand budget.
Requirements

5+ years of progressive marketing responsibilities with pharmaceutical product(s). Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred

Broad marketing experience including brand planning and local execution planning

Proven ability to lead and work with many areas of marketing management including strategy development, engagement programs, market research, customer segmentation, competitive dynamics, and issue management in a highly complex and dynamic environment.

Thorough understanding of early commercialization and brand development process, as well as an understanding of the critical and specific needs of necessary commercial insights and touch points.

Strong business acumen, with the ability to synthesize and communicate data and research outputs to formulate marketing recommendations.

Ability to analyze market dynamics and generate insights to develop effective brand plans and marketing strategies.

Strong analytical skills including experience with financial models.

Understanding of the pharmaceutical R&D process and importance of integrating commercial and development strategy and plans.

Strong scientific/medical aptitude with the ability to understand complex scientific/medical concepts and data.

Strong leadership skills and facilitation skills and ability to collaborate across the organization

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple internal Global and Japan cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
