The primary focus of this position is to support Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) as the Project Coordinator of EOHSS for the Devens Facility within the Department of Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety and Sustainability (EOHSS). As the Project Coordinator you will play an active role in supporting the company’s environmental, occupational health, safety, and sustainability (EOHSS) efforts within the Devens Facility to drive long-term company and stakeholder value.
The individual in this role will be responsible for providing administrative support and developing, planning, organization, and executing EOHSS programs, policies, procedures, and training to ensure that the site maintains a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant facility in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. This position plays a key role in aligning corporate and local policies and procedures and will enable and foster a proactive and integrated EOHSS culture that promotes a positive, proactive approach throughout all operations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Function as Incident Coordinator including internal notifications and reports, database maintenance, and tracking of EHS events, investigations, and action items. Assist with coordinating daily department Tier meetings.

Manage a wide range of communications and preparation / distribution of Site EOHSS communications.

Develop, create, and manage site platforms, databases, and SharePoint for documentation of procedures, forms, SOPs, investigations, communications, and other management system platforms and their outcomes in line with all EOHSS and Site requirements.

Develop, create, and maintain, and distribute EOHSS reports, and records as assigned.

Assist with coordination of group meetings, audits, and Site EOHSS events as needed.

Perform data analysis, trending, and deep data dives within EOHSS management system(s). Be familiar with the DMAIC process and assist with those continuous improvement activities.

Manage the EOHSS training schedule and help with coordination of assignments. Administer and review training reports, assignments, and work with Learning & Development Team on both submitting forms and implementing new initiatives. Independently assigns/determines training components for job classifications based upon existing guidelines. Exercises strong judgment when assigning qualifications.

Assist with document control process, including submitting documents for review and approval, submitting appropriate forms in document control system, and working with EOHSS Team on any periodical reviews required. Maintain a schedule for those periodic reviews to ensure timely completion.

Executes, tracks, and manages P.O.s, check requests, financial reports, and assists with purchases as needed.

Key contact for internal customers, researchers, facilities, management, and other cross functional groups, building strong relationships by handling EOHSS inquiries and managing central EOHSS e-mail box for the Site.

Challenges the status quo and brings new approaches to continually improve the effectiveness of workflows and processes (learn and apply new concepts).

Review and ensure accurate and complete resolution of issues as they arise and escalates concerns, resource constraints, needs, with urgency to appropriate leaders within the organization.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, safety, medical surveillance and sustainability laws, regulations, codes, rules, and consensus guides.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Minimum education of a B.S. degree is required.

Prior EHS Incident, Administrative, and/or Project Coordinator experience is required.

Experience with incidents and/or learning systems database (e.g., Enablon, Success Factors)

Previous experience with financial/purchasing systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Experience with document control systems (e.g., DCA, BMSDocs) preferred.

Prioritizes work and thinks independently, analyzes, and solves complex problems with excellent judgment, quality, and detail in an urgent manner.

Excellent transparent verbal and written communication skills.
