Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with 1-3 years of experience for our Laurel/Baltimore region. We’re growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services
Desired experience, skills and education:
- BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
- 1-3 years’ experience in Phase I and Phase II ESAs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
- Preparing effective reports and other deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
- Preparing accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and similar project documentation
- Willingness and ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.

Annual Salary: $45,000 – $65,000
