HE Space has joined forces with CS Group and Sopra Steria to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

As part of the team you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support ESA projects in the matters associated with material obsolescence and REACH.
- Aid formulation of recommendations to ESA technology programs addressing obsolescence risks for future developments as well as risk mitigation solutions.
- Provide inputs to ESA R&D Technology Programmes in the matters of environmental regulations, in coordination with the Systems Engineers for Space Sustainability.
- Participate in fora on the matters related to REACH, RoHS and other relevant regulations affecting European space sector.
- Support and create awareness of the environmental regulations and their impact within the industrial ecosystem, within smaller companies, through information events.
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience;
- Knowledge and experience in Sustainability Engineering topics (Clean Space, Zero Debris, Eco-Design, Space Circular Economy, Active Debris Removal, In-Orbit Servicing);
- Knowledge and experience with environmental regulations, such as REACh and RoHS;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
