Job Description- Lead and manage the Brainlab Environmental Management System (EMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 14001:2015 and relevant EU and international regulations.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Environmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Plan, execute, and manage internal and external environmental audits, ensuring implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Oversee pollution control, waste management, and resource consumption to enhance sustainability efforts.
- Ensure compliance with electronic waste, batteries, and packaging regulations, maintaining all necessary documentation and reporting.
- Respond to customer environmental inquiries and questionnaires.
- Support the supplier selection process, evaluating sustainability and environmental compliance aspects.
- Manage and lead various environmental and sustainability projects to enhance corporate responsibility.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven experience in environmental management, ideally within a certified ISO 14001:2015 environment.
- Strong knowledge of EU and international environmental regulations.
- Experience in auditing and compliance reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct impact assessments and implement sustainable improvements.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills in German and English to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
