About Us
Global chemical and environmental regulations play a vital role in every stage of a product’s lifecycle, from development and manufacturing to usage and disposal. At Roche Pharma Technical Operations, we are uniting our expertise and expanding our capabilities to ensure strong compliance with these important regulations.
The Opportunity:Join a dynamic, international team at the forefront of product environmental compliance. As an intern, you will actively support data management processes related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) within the Pharma Division.
You’ll gain hands-on experience by contributing to ongoing projects, helping to shape global processes, and transforming data into meaningful insights. Based on your interests and growth, you may even take ownership of specific tasks and workstreams. This is more than just an internship — it’s a launchpad into the world of global pharmaceutical operations.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:Contribute to activities and projects focused on EHS data management and product compliance
Support team workshops and collaborative sessions
Collect, structure, and analyse data
Create and maintain internal data repositories and communication tools
Help design and optimize global procedures and processes
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a university within the past 12 months prior to the start date, preferably in the field of Environmental or Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Interest in data analytics or data science
Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams
Knowledge in environmental or chemical regulations is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details
Curious mindset, self-starter attitude, and comfort with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies is a plus
Ability to present complex information in a clear, visual way and excellent spoken and written English; German is a plus
