Oversees and manage the Saw and Die/Wire Bond process engineering, continuously promote engineering activities related to quality improvement. Ensure effective control of production processes, continuously improve and enhance production process capabilities, continuously increase production efficiency of production lines, enhance production technology levels, and enhance the technical capabilities of process teams. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the effective operation of relevant functions.
Responsibilities- Plan and schedule activities and coordinates performance to accomplish project objectives.
- Provide technical aid for adjustment of process and introduction of new technology.
- To provide the support and follow through to the engineering team for establishing and documenting Process FMEA, Control Plans, Total Control Methodology (TCM), Statistical Process Controls(SPC) and inspection techniques of respective processes.
- Championing and initiating continuous improvement for the area of responsibility.
- Ensure timely response for corrective actions/request to customers.
- Developing, motivating and empowering staff to provide responsive and cost effective services.
- Reviewing and recommending policy or procedural changes to achieve site environmental, health and safety compliance, the reduction or elimination of related issues and costs, and continuous improvement of the reporting and protection systems established.
- Developing and implementing plans to minimize and eliminate the interruption of core services provided to manufacturing that lead to production loss.
- Support manufacturing organizations in production process, quality, and productivity improvement.
- Coordinate the implementation strategies and methodologies such as lean 6-sigma for continuous improvement.
- Administrate the programs to improve engineering know-how, engineering exchange, awards, technical ladder, etc.
- Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, standards/codes (RBA, SOX or internal control) and ensure compliance; ensure all workers under his / her supervision have obtained necessary training; ensure workers to report violations of company labor, ethics and EHS policies / laws / requirements; ensure identified labor, ethics and EHS issues are corrected in a timely manner.
