AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Work as part of the highway design team in producing plans, specifications and estimates for Transportation Projects.
• Builds analytic and design skills, within Highway modeling and engineering.
• Conducts highway engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer, utilizing Bentley OpenRoads.
• Collects and analyzes data.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems, as well as MS Office throughout the day.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:            

• Previous relevant internship within civil engineering, ideally a large AEC company that supports similar highway/roadway projects..
• Experience with an emphasis in civil engineering fields such as highway design, stormwater and multimodal transportation projects.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and experience with MS Office
• Ability to work as a member of a team or perform independent work as required.
• Good interpersonal skills, good command of the English language both, verbally and written, the ability to express thoughts clearly, good time management skills, and a good attitude towards work.
