Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Voice Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our communication platforms, including Skype 2012, Google Voice, and Zoom.
This role demands a deep understanding of voice communication technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential Job Functions:
● Oversee the day-to-day operations of Skype 2012, Google Voice, and Zoom.
● Ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively with minimal downtime.
● Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
● Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with communication platforms.
● Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to voice and video communication.
● Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
● Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
● Develop and implement strategies for optimizing communication infrastructure.
● Ensure scalability of communication systems to support business growth.
● Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
● Create user guides and training materials to assist staff in using communication tools effectively.
● Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams.
● Implement and manage security protocols to protect communication systems from threats.
● Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
● Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the integrity of communication systems.
● Lead and manage projects related to the implementation and enhancement of communication systems.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
● Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
● In-depth knowledge of Skype 2012, Google Voice, and Zoom.
● Experience with VoIP technologies and protocols.
● Proficiency in network infrastructure and telecommunication systems.
● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:
●Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
●3+ years of experience in email systems support
●Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Google Workspace
●Strong understanding of networking protocols and security best practices
●Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
●Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
●Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Skype for Business, Google Voice Certification, Zoom Certified Integrator).
●Experience with Active Directory
●Experience with PowerShell scripting
●Experience with virtualization technologies
