Enterprise Telephony Architect
Location: Remote - North America or United Kingdom (must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours)
Travel: Ability to travel up to 20%

Are you an Enterprise Architect with a solid understanding of integrating CCaaS and Customer Service Applications in large scale environments? If you love solutioning for enterprise Clients and you have a passion helping our customers transform and modernize their contact centers using a combination of CCaaS, AI and CRM applications, this is the perfect challenge for you! Your expertise and knowledge will allow you to push platforms to the limit and transcend Client expectations.
As an Enterprise Telephony Architect, you will engineer and design the most complex Cloud Contact Center solutions imaginable for some of the largest companies in the world. You are the SME who understands impacts of technology decisions and can easily explain to both technical and non-technical stakeholders the importance of technology and the impacts to the business. You will manage large-scale project initiatives, address digital transformation goals and business priorities. You will work directly with Clients and the Eventus team so working with people should be second nature. It's imperative that you have an inquisitive mind to design and deploy robust Contact Center solutions in a wide variety of environments. You will also roll up your sleeves often so be prepared dive headfirst into technical designs and give direction to delivery teams for complex problems. You will work autonomously as well as with a team of application architects, engineers, sales folks, Clients and other industry leaders. What We're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years' experience in Contact Center and UC environments
  • 10 or more years of experience defining network architectures and network security
  • 10 or more years of application design within CCaaS systems. Past titles may include Enterprise Architect, Telephony Architect, Solution Architect.
  • Experience must include:
  • Defining overall CCaaS architectures including (but not limited to) WFM, quality, AI tools, ACD, IVR and integrations
  • Establishing performant, secure network architectures linking public and private clouds to enterprise networks
  • Consider and consult on data architectures for contact center applications including defining systems of record, data schemas, integrations, middleware, timeliness and frequency.
  • Creating solution designs that provide for effective maintainability, scalability, and upgradability
  • Experience with on premise to Cloud migration and the technical challenges and implications.
  • Defining strategies for and executing large enterprise migrations (1,000+ agent seats)
  • Implementation of Enterprise ACD, IVR and CTI applications
  • API integrations, REST/SOAP Web services experience and understanding of API authentication
  • SIP services / VoIP experience to include troubleshooting
  • Hands on experience with coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C++
  • Leading design reviews for other developers and architects on the team
  • Excellent written communication including leading whiteboard sessions, technical design sessions, developing architecture and network diagrams, technical flow designs and more
  • Pre-sales support including the ability to create sales demos and support sales presentations and client discussions
  • Experience with Genesys Cloud, Amazon Connect, or other cloud contact center application vendors is highly desired
  • Experience with devops and CICD concepts including configuration-as-code, source code management (e.g. Github) and automated pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Devops, AWS CloudPipeline, etc.)


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Build actionable and achievable CCaaS transformation plans including specifying legacy system/network changes needed or recommended.
  • Define and build tools and libraries to augment CCaaS vendor capabilities (customizations, configurations, testing, code-reuse, etc..)
  • Serve as escalation point on project designs, issues and troubleshooting as required.
  • Lead RCA activities as required to resolve delivery or production issues.
  • Create project and solution proposals, estimate delivery timelines and support RFP responses
  • Create and lead executive sales and delivery discussions including the creation of PPTs or other required facilitation documents.
  • Lead POC activities as required for sales or project deliveries.

USA applicants can expect to make between $175,000 to $225,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon experience, skills, certifications, education among other factors as required in the job description. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus up to 20%.
