The Opportunity
Are you a highly analytical and process-driven professional with a strong understanding of enterprise-level applications and how they integrate to support business functions? Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a talented Enterprise Systems Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be a crucial bridge between our business users and technical teams, ensuring our critical enterprise systems (such as ERP, CRM, PLM, HRIS, and others) are aligned with business needs, optimized for performance, and contribute to our operational efficiency and strategic goals. You will play a key role in system implementations, enhancements, and ongoing support.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with various business units (e.g., Finance, Operations, HR, Sales, Engineering) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new system functionalities, enhancements, and integrations.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with technical teams to design, configure, and implement solutions within our enterprise applications. This may include configuring modules, defining workflows, and customizing reports.
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to leverage enterprise system capabilities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy.
Develop test plans, execute user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that new functionalities and system changes meet business requirements and are free of defects.
Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and develop and deliver training materials to ensure effective and efficient use of enterprise applications.
Work with data teams to ensure data integrity across systems and assist in developing reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
Support the integration of various enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation across different platforms.
Assist in evaluating and managing relationships with software vendors and service providers for enterprise applications.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, system configurations, and user guides.
Participate in enterprise-wide projects, acting as a subject matter expert for relevant systems and processes.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as an Enterprise Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on large-scale enterprise applications (e.g., ERP like SAP, Oracle; HRIS like Workday; CRM like Salesforce; PLM systems).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical solutions.
Excellent understanding of business processes across different functions (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR).
Proven experience in gathering requirements, system configuration, testing, and user support.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
