The PositionAt Roche/Genentech Pharma Product Development Global Clinical Operations (PDG), we are determined to transform drug development and realize our Pharma Ambition to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden by 2029.
We are looking for an Enterprise Strategic CRO Partnership Leader who will drive the strategic management, performance, and oversight of our end-to-end, enterprise-wide strategic partners (e.g., CROs) across Global Product Development, Medical Affairs and Early Development.
The OpportunityYou will be instrumental in achieving our mission by focusing on high-impact strategic initiatives
Develop and Execute the strategic CRO partnership strategy to support Clinical Operations across our five clinical operations business units.
Drive the sourcing strategy and champion the clinical operations enterprise-wide strategy to accelerate clinical development.
Lead the Enterprise/TA aligned partnership with Partner/Vendor Alliance executive leadership and relationship management.
Deliver measurable business impact and ROI through strategic CRO partnerships to directly contribute to achieving the Roche Pharma Ambition.
Develop financial oversight mechanisms with Procurement to optimize spend and drive cost efficiencies, including CRO budget benchmarkings and change order oversight.
Lead health checks / governance meetings with partners including managing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Quality Indicators (KQI).
Accountable for the E2E partnership and deliverables between the CRO partner and Roche teams at Global, regional, and country levels.

Significant experience in strategic partnership management in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record of building and developing high performing teams and strong delivery on project goals
Demonstrated mastery in managing highly complex global relationships at strategic and executive levels.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with experience in managing complex partnerships.
Exceptional decision-making skills, weighing short- and long-term impacts that significantly affect the business.
Location: This position can be located in Mississauga, Canada; Welwyn, UK; South San Francisco, United States; or Basel, Switzerland.
