The Role
As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you will originate, structure and close strategic merchant relationships within Viva.com’s Direct Sales organisation in Greece. You will lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals from first contact to signed agreement, selling our omnichannel payments and embedded-finance proposition into enterprise accounts across retail, e-commerce, hospitality, food & beverage and the public sector.
This is a quota-carrying, individual-contributor role. You will build your own pipeline and act as a trusted commercial advisor to senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of enterprise and strategic merchant accounts, with full responsibility for new-business origination and revenue growth.
- Lead the full sales cycle — discovery, solution design, commercial proposal, RFP and tender response, negotiation and contracting.
- Structure complex commercial deals across card acquiring, e-commerce, POS, Tap-on-Device, marketplace payments and embedded finance, including pricing and integration scoping.
- Multi-thread across each merchant organisation, engaging economic and technical buyers and cultivating internal champions.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in the CRM, supported by structured mutual action plans.
- Partner with Solution Engineering, Pricing, Risk and Legal to deliver winning proposals, positioning Viva.com against competitors such as Adyen, Stripe, Worldline, Nexi and NBG Pay.

Requirements
- Proven enterprise or complex B2B sales experience (typically 5+ years), ideally in payments, fintech, banking, SaaS or enterprise technology.
- A track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals and consistently meeting quota.
- Command of a consultative, value-based sales methodology (e.g. MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN), and experience managing formal RFPs and public tenders.
- Credibility with C-level stakeholders, and a working understanding of payments and acquiring economics — or the aptitude to master them quickly.
- Practical, hands-on experience using AI tools to support sales work — for example, account research, proposal drafting or competitive analysis.
- Fluency in Greek and English, written and spoken, to a professional business standard.
- Direct experience in the payments, PSP, acquiring or banking sector is considered a plus.
- Vertical expertise in hospitality, retail or e-commerce is considered a plus.
- An established network of enterprise merchant relationships in the Greek market is considered a plus.
