We're BlueCat—a Great Place to Work for good reason. Our team solves critical network challenges for some of the world's largest organizations. In simple terms, we manage the systems that keep networks running smoothly, securely, and reliably—the backbone infrastructure that powers digital transformation for enterprises globally. Our Intelligent Network Operations platform delivers and enables AI-driven agentic ops at scale, automating and simplifying how companies manage, secure, and optimize their networks.

But what makes us different is how we work: we believe great work happens in an environment where you're trusted, heard, and supported. With teams globally, we're building a workplace culture that values collaboration and integrity as much as innovation. If you're looking to advance your career with a company that invests in its people, this is it.

BlueCat’s Network Observability platform is transforming how organizations gain visibility, control, automation, and confidence across increasingly complex digital infrastructures. Together, we deliver market-leading network observability, infrastructure intelligence, performance monitoring, telemetry analytics, and automation solutions that help enterprises improve resiliency, accelerate troubleshooting, reduce operational complexity, and enable digital transformation across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

We’re looking for a high-impact Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and customer engagement. This is not a traditional demo-focused role. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and channel partners, helping organizations modernize network operations, improve operational visibility, automate infrastructure workflows, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

You’ll collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams to shape customer strategy, influence product direction, and drive long-term customer value throughout the entire customer lifecycle — from evaluation and adoption through expansion and ongoing success.

If you enjoy translating deep technical expertise into measurable customer outcomes — and want to work with cutting-edge observability, telemetry, AI-assisted operations, and infrastructure intelligence technologies — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

Partner with Enterprise Customers

  • Lead consultative discovery engagements to uncover customer operational challenges, modernization priorities, cloud transformation initiatives, and business objectives
  • Advise customers on network observability, telemetry strategy, AI-assisted operations, and infrastructure intelligence best practices across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Conduct executive and technical workshops that align technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, resiliency, and ROI
  • Lead proof-of-value engagements that demonstrate operational improvements, faster troubleshooting, reduced downtime, and automation outcomes
  • Guide customers through technical evaluations, onboarding, adoption, and expansion initiatives to ensure long-term customer success
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with technical teams, operations leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders

Drive Technical Sales and Customer Success

  • Architect and position observability and infrastructure intelligence solutions aligned to customer environments and strategic priorities
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into customer-centric business value and operational outcomes
  • Design integrated solutions spanning network observability, telemetry analytics, infrastructure automation, and API-driven operational workflows
  • Support customers with Infrastructure-as-Code, orchestration, automation frameworks, and integration platform strategies
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Services teams to ensure seamless transitions from evaluation to deployment, adoption, and expansion
  • Support channel and strategic partners in strengthening their technical positioning and customer engagement capabilities

Influence Product and Market Strategy

  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and GTM teams to provide customer insights, competitive intelligence, and feature recommendations
  • Contribute customer feedback related to observability workflows, telemetry analytics, automation use cases, integrations, and operational intelligence
  • Participate in beta programs, solution validation initiatives, and customer advisory engagements
  • Develop technical thought leadership content, enablement materials, workshops, and industry presentations
  • Represent BlueCat’s LiveAction Network Observability solutions at customer events, industry conferences, webinars, and strategic engagements
Operate Effectively in a Modern Remote-First Environment
  • Maintain accurate technical engagement and opportunity updates within Salesforce and collaboration platforms
  • Collaborate effectively across globally distributed and cross-functional teams
  • Leverage modern remote engagement tools to support customers virtually while maintaining strong executive presence and relationship management
  • Stay current on emerging technologies including AI-assisted operations, observability platforms, telemetry analytics, automation frameworks, hybrid cloud networking, and infrastructure intelligence solutions

What You Bring:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, network operations, network security, infrastructure modernization, and observability architectures
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise environments spanning on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructures

Deep knowledge of:

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted operations, infrastructure intelligence, operational analytics, and automation-driven workflows is highly valued
  • Experience integrating platforms using APIs, automation frameworks, or orchestration technologies is strongly preferred
  • CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent networking expertise is a strong plus
Customer Engagement & Advisory Skills:
  • Exceptional consultative selling and relationship-building abilities
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives
  • Strong facilitation, discovery, and advisory skills within complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Comfortable leading both technical deep dives and executive-level strategic conversations
  • Self-starter mindset with strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving instincts

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, network engineering, technical consulting, customer success engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles
  • Experience working collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Sales,
