Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own enterprise software sales from first outreach through signed contract, partnering closely with senior management and other departments. This is one of the earliest sales positions, with room to influence how deals are run and how the offering is taken to market.
What you'll do
- Manage the entire enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting through closing.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of large organizations across several financial services segments.
- Study customer challenges in depth and shape tailored solutions around them.
- Serve as the main point of contact during discovery calls, product demonstrations, contract negotiations and continuing account care.
- Shape the sales approach, messaging and market strategy alongside leadership while the sales function takes form.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
- A history of closing enterprise software contracts worth 100k+ in annual value against quotas of about $1M, with consistently top-tier results.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently without established playbooks.
- Experience at high-growth startups, with lasting success and promotions at an early-stage company.
- Experience selling into insurance, fintech or other regulated industries.
- High energy and excellent communication skills.
- Living in New York City or ready to move there, working in the office 4 to 5 days per week.
