This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

Position Summary:

Supports the Internal Audit function regarding all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program. Responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization, developing, reporting and monitoring formats on risk management issues and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization.

Your Role:

  • This role also performs risk data analysis and prepares reporting packages to support management and leaders at different levels.
  • Supports the system, data and reporting needs for ERM programs that are designed to proactively and systematically identify, assess, monitor, report and escalate Key Risk and Key Performance issues on a timely basis.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders, and leads the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of GRC system solution, and system-based reports, either related to new module development, or reconfigurations of the existing modules.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders at different levels, gathers requirements to define, design, and implement risk-based portfolio level reports or reporting packages for key meetings owned / led / participated by the ERM management, using quantitative and qualitative analytics, in Excel, PowerPoint and Word formats.
  • Develops robust validation procedures and ensures high quality and report integrity, by self-validating or certifying reports and obtain proper approval prior to publication or distribution.
  • Proactively performs periodic checking on exceptions found in system, data, and reporting, and work with Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3 functions for timely resolution.
  • Leads the identification of emerging issues and vulnerabilities by performing trending analysis and risk aggregation, including escalating concerns of significant severity to the department head and other senior risk officers.
  • Periodically reviews the department procedures and user manuals to ensure documentations are accurate and new system changes are captured on a timely basis.
  • Supports the client issues reporting and regulatory reporting as needed.
  • Works with the Governance functions to facilitate timely rectification of GRC data, supports remediation resources on the timely remediation of issues/MAPs, and data imports to support new ERM initiatives.
  • Primarily responsible for ongoing maintenance and administration of Cenlar's GRC system, which supports multiple modules and risk programs.
  • Works collaboratively with business owners for each module in defining and maintaining a robust user access management framework.
  • Maintains GRC architecture documentation and helps manage GRC vendor relationship.
  • Manages team Change Management for GRC and Reporting SharePoint site and process, by vetting changes and ensuring all requirements and approval documentation is obtained.
  • Provides recommendations and guidance on necessary enhancements or changes to the system, or reporting, and assists timely training to improve end-user experience or system functionality.
  • Standardizes, streamlines, and automates the GRC system, and reporting solutions where possible.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk.
  • Demonstrate consideration for Ingram Micro's reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in banking, audit, risk management, compliance, consulting, project management or computer science, with exposure to operational risk, compliance, risk and controls management, or audit experience (preferably within a mortgage or banking environment)
  • 3+ years of solid experience working with financial services / GRC Systems / Risk Management Software products, proven ability to work with complexed data sets.
  • Experienced and comfortable with system configuration and integration, as well as managing system access and implementing security measurements.
  • Must demonstrate sound understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and internal control principles and concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and credibly assess the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls, as well as the operational and financial impact of findings and control issues.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, with expert level skillset in Excel (formula writing, CSV support, pivot tables, able to write

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $88,700.00 - $150,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
