The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

About The Role

The Enterprise Resiliency organization of Corebridge Financial is responsible for preparing our businesses for the loss of personnel, technology, facilities, and third-party partners according to our defined policies and standards. Our team collaborates with Corebridge business units and corporate functions, as well as security and technology partners to plan, respond and recover from disruptions with the goal of restoring business process and technology capabilities while reducing business impact.  The role will provide strategic guidance and planning for various Enterprise Resiliency projects and help lead and implement these projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all guidance, training, and QA for development of resiliency strategies and plan documents to respective Business Continuity / Incident Management / Disaster Recovery Coordinators 
  • Mentor and Coach the Enterprise Resiliency Officers in developing and maintaining resiliency plans, resiliency exercises, incident management and communication  
  • Document critical business services for Resiliency across people, process, technology, data, and premises, and monitor potential vulnerabilities 
  • Maintain and enhance protocols for continuous monitoring and assessment of emerging risks. 
  • Maintain and enhance crisis response framework to ensure an effective enterprise response 
  • Design and deliver resilience awareness and training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of preparedness and adaptability 
  • Formulate and facilitate resiliency exercises to validate solutions and ensure that plans have been adequately tested, and gaps are identified and tracked until remediation is complete 
  • Ensure all program partners are adhering to Enterprise Resiliency policies and standards and compliance obligations 
  • Manage Enterprise Resiliency participation in audits and regulatory reviews as required 
  • Manage and Publish Enterprise Resiliency Monthly Metrics 
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing Enterprise Resiliency who will facilitate governance for Business Continuity, Incident Management and Disaster Recovery programs 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, Risk, Controls, Operations, Facilities or Technology-related discipline 
  • Consulting experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with industry-recognized Professional Certification, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (preferred) 
  • Experience with leading and implementing projects and working with cross-functional teams 
  • Working knowledge of technologies relevant to responsibilities, with a strong understanding of driving analytics and reporting 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; can work well with others; proactive and eager to help when there is a potential incident 
  • Available to work during off hours and willing to travel to Corebridge Financial facilities as necessary 
  • Experience with using Enterprise Resiliency tools (e.g., Archer and Everbridge) a plus  

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000 to $185,000 for Jersey City, NJ region at the commencement of employment.  Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX or Jersey City, NJ office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
