About Take Command

Take Command is a start-up on a mission to improve the healthcare system, starting with health insurance. Pragmatically speaking, we help employers reimburse employees for individual insurance instead of offering a traditional one-size-fits-all group plan. We believe this model can empower employees (when they have the right support) to be savvy healthcare consumers and have a transformative impact on the entire healthcare system.

Let’s be honest—health insurance is usually a confusing, frustrating, and even emotional experience for people. We want to fix that with a new model, great technology, and a superior user experience. We have made a great start, but we need your help to fully realize our long-term vision.

Role Overview

The Enterprise Project Manager is responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives that improve how our company operates and scales. This role is project management first and foremost, with a secondary focus on ensuring successful adoption of projects across the organization.

As a detail-oriented and hands-on project manager, you’ll partner across departments to scope, plan, and execute high-impact initiatives. This role requires excellent organizational skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to keep complex projects moving forward. Over time, this position may expand into leading additional projects or mentoring junior project resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise-wide projects: scope, plan, execute, monitor, and close.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by managing dependencies, risks, and timelines.
  • Apply elements of change management (communication, training, adoption) to ensure initiatives succeed.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, dashboards, and reporting for leadership visibility.
  • Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project processes and contribute to enterprise operations best practices.
Skills & Competencies
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong command of planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Execution Orientation: Hands-on, detail-oriented, and bias toward action.
  • Change Awareness: Familiarity with communication and adoption strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to influence without authority and manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at breaking down complex issues into manageable workstreams.
  • Strong Communication: Clear, concise, and adaptable across audiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in project management or program management.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, etc.) preferred.
  • Exposure to change management principles is a plus.
  • Experience in high-growth or dynamic organizations (startup, consulting, or enterprise environments).

More About Us

We secured our Series B funding in 2023 and are thrilled to be able to expand our team.
