About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Pricing Analyst to join our Global Finance team. This role will be responsible for managing pricing across all deals, partnering closely with the Sales organization to ensure appropriate pricing approvals, profitability, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time, based in our global headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah and reports to the Enterprise Finance Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and execute the company’s enterprise pricing strategy across all deals and business units.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Executive leadership to review and approve pricing for new opportunities.
- Oversee the daily maintenance, accuracy, and execution of the company’s price book.
- Monitor existing and new pricing to identify outliers and opportunities to improve profitability.
- Track the pricing of all deals and maintain a database to measure pricing trends and performance metrics.
- Analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights and recommendations for pricing optimization.
- Develop and present pricing analysis and reports to leadership teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in pricing processes, tools, and governance.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in finance, accounting, sales or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and justify opportunities for pricing changes or margin improvement.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience with Salesforce and CPQ systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools required.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
