Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) is a Roche cross-functional and cross-divisional network of master data specialists and subject-matter experts developing governance frameworks and maintenance processes to ensure high-quality and trusted master data as the backbone for seamless business operations, data analytics and digitalization.

The Opportunity

This is a temporary, fixed term opportunity through 12/31/2026
 

As the Enterprise Master Data Management Operations Data Manager for the Business Partner Master Data, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing the deployment of Master Data processes across multiple regions and divisions. Reporting to the Cluster Lead, you will provide coordination and support for ongoing deployments, ensuring that they are executed smoothly, on time, and in alignment with the established processes and governance standards. You will oversee deployment projects, working closely with business partners, IT teams, and stakeholders across divisions to address any operational or technical queries and ensure consistency and accuracy of the data.

  • Being an expert in procurement master data including supplier master data concepts, hands-on experience in design

  • Implementing data migration strategy, data conversion tools involving multiple (ERP) systems consolidation

  • Ensuring that all milestones and deliverables according to the project scope are on time, within the expected quality and satisfaction levels

  • Being service oriented in working closely with the customer and being their first point of contact

  • Delivering the relevant tasks and projects in accordance with the selected deployment methodology

  • Adhering to the standard and/or project specific deployment methodology

  • Ensuring compliance with the deployment approach, governance, cost and service level parameters

  • Planning and executing process workshops or fit gap sessions together with the Business Process Management and/or other teams together with affiliates, sites or functions

  • Coordinating and/or supporting local affiliates in specific areas of the deployments such as the coordination of test phases or data migration support

  • Obtaining approval of project delivery by customers and successful handover to RSS operations or other parties

  • Execute data cleansing and quality tasks for the system’s data design.

Who you are

  • Having experience with MDG and SAP ERP (Master Data) 

  • Appropriate University degree in business or economics and 5+ years of project deployment and/or vendor master data related work experience

  • Finance, Procurement and/or Supply Chain experience is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration.  

  • Ability to effectively communicate across various levels of a complex, matrix organization. 

  • Service orientation mindset to shape a high quality and reliable project delivery service.  Experience in a Business Operations environment is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically integrate multiple streams of information and activities at a program level

  • Self-driven, adaptable and resilient, with a growth mindset
