As a Enterprise Intelligence Analyst you will be transforming data in a way that drives the future of Central Insurance. With a natural curiosity for continuous improvement and streamlining data, you will be energized by delivering data-driven solutions and providing key stakeholders with the intel they need to succeed.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Assume department responsibility as the Data Steward ensuring the fitness of data elements
- Collaborate regularly with IT, Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, and other Business units to ensure data is accurate and assists the organization in making data-driven decisions and recommendations
- Display critical thinking and evaluation when researching and responding to inquiries and referrals
- Develop and utilize BI solutions effectively (e.g. dashboards, reports, analytics, data pulls, insights, etc.)
- Collaborates across teams, often with Marketing Analytics to perform and interpret data analyses
- Meets with stakeholders to understand needs and provide insights that help meet profit, growth, and expense goals
- Ensure adherence to & reinforcement of delivery best practices
- Actively engaged in the design and implementation of repeatable processes
- Champion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices
- Partner with IT, data, and other BI organizations to advance data & analytical capabilities throughout the enterprise
- Support the BI team in solving complex data or analytical problems
- Delivery of high-priority or advanced BI/data/analytical capabilities
- Guide & influence enterprise data solutions
- Leads projects that involve the creation of BI solutions and support of others within the department
- Trains and serves as a trusted advisor to Associate Business Intelligence Analysts and Business Intelligence Analysts on data requests and processes
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 year related experience
- Or 4 years related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge in data architecture
- Strong data visualization development experience with Power-BI
- SQL knowledge and exposure
- Ability to set priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectives
- Ability to shift & balance strategic, high-level thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to lead, motivate & influence without having formal authority
- Ability to act as a thought leader with a focus on innovative & high-quality solutions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with internal /external customers
- Ability to understand, design & implement end-to-end BI workflows
- Ability to understand Central Insurance's policies and processes
