This role can be based in various offices, on a hybrid basis. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Content and Cloud Services.

 

Position Summary

 

The Enterprise Integration Engineer is a member of the AI & Data Platform Enablement team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the integrations that connect the firm’s Microsoft 365 environment, the Power Platform, and line-of-business application, including the firm’s AI tools. This role focuses on enterprise application integration by implementing and developing connectors and MCP servers, APIs, plugins, and automated workflows that surface approved capabilities, including AI features such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio. The Enterprise Integration Engineer partners with Cloud Services, Information Security, application owners, and practice and business stakeholders to deliver secure, governed, well-adopted integrations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, and maintains integrations across Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Copilot, Copilot Studio), the Power Platform, firm approved AI products, line-of-business applications, and other firm systems as required
  • Develops and installs connectors and MCP servers, APIs, plugins, and automated workflows that surface approved capabilities inside existing business workflows
  • Builds and maintains the authentication, identity, and connection patterns that integrations depend on (Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, custom and secure connectors, OAuth 2.0)
  • Implements Copilot Studio agents and declarative or custom plugins, ensuring they are grounded on firm-approved data sources and respect existing permissions and ethical walls
  • Works with practice groups and business functions to identify integration use cases, scope solutions, and define adoption and success metrics
  • Ensures all integrations honor the firm’s security, confidentiality, and data-protection requirements, working closely with Information Security and aligning to Purview and DLP controls
  • Develops user-facing documentation, enablement materials, and training to drive adoption of delivered integrations
  • Monitors adoption, gathers user feedback, and iterates to improve usefulness and uptake
  • Troubleshoots and supports production integrations, coordinating with platform, application, and vendor teams as needed
  • Reviews existing integrations and recommends improvements, consolidation, or re-architecture as patterns mature
  • Evaluates new Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI integration capabilities for potential firm adoption
  • Creates and delivers presentations and demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Appears on camera for meetings with colleagues and vendors
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

 

Qualifications

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency building integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors, webhooks, and modern authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, Entra ID)
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint, Teams, identity, and role-based access control
  • Familiarity with data protection and compliance tooling (Microsoft Purview, DLP, sensitivity labels) and the importance of confidentiality in a professional services setting
  • Ability to translate business workflows into technical integration designs and to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences
  • Strong attention to detail with solid time and project management skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable operating in a shared services model

 

Education & Prior Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in application integration, software development, or Microsoft 365/Power Platform development roles
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 development, Microsoft Graph, and/or the Power Platform in an enterprise environment\ Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise application integrations across Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
  • Experience with installing and supporting MCP servers in a business environment
  • Experience integrating line-of-business and document systems (e.g., iManage) via APIs and supported connectors
  • Experience with scripting and development using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or C#
  • Experience with AI and Microsoft 365 Copilot/Copilot Studio concepts
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot or Copilot Studio
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, or Azure preferred
  • Experience working in a professional services organization strongly preferred. Law firm experience a plus
