About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and driven individual with energy and passion to drive new business acquisition in the Enterprise Division at Verkada. The Enterprise Development Representative role is generally a 12-18 month program that is designed to fast-track entry-level sales professionals into top performing Mid-Market Account Executives at Verkada. We are looking for experienced sales representatives to work with our Enterprise A/NZ team.

You will have the opportunity to transition into an Account Executive role upon successful completion of the program. 

We are committed to a thriving in office culture. This role requires that you be on-site in our Sydney office five days a week. 

What You'll Do 
  • Hit daily expectations of cold-calls, emails and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Messages sent per day
  • Hit monthly expectations of qualified meetings generated
  • Work closely with your assigned Enterprise Account Executive by providing accurate lead distribution, and thorough discovery; generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities by positioning the value of Verkada
  • Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads 
  • Understand and uncover prospects needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
  • Use Verkada tech stack and sales enablement tools according to Verkada standards; provide metrics on leads
  • Establish connections with potential customers within the technical realm and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
  • Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, adapt to changes while creating high quality opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Understanding of sales cycles and required qualification criteria.
  • Have the knack for grasping complex business environments, figuring out what bugs customers, sorting out process hiccups, and turning needs into new business opportunities 
What You Bring
  • Minimum 1 year of B2B sales or business development experience
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting, particularly cold calling
  • Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite five days a week
  • Grit: You have discipline and drive
  • Organisation: Ability to structure day to day while juggling multiple tasks
  • Resilience: The willingness to cold-call and the ability to overcome rejection
  • Coachability: You have the self-awareness to address feedback and areas for development, have an eagerness to learn & grow and are able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Curiosity: You want to understand customers and their pain points
  • Able to challenge the status quo: Your ability to build strong relationships enables you to influence and challenge the norm
