About the Role

The Enterprise Development Representative Manager will lead our Enterprise Development Representative program. This role will strongly focus on executing against Verkada's Enterprise's outbound activity to help build market awareness, drive pipeline, and execute against revenue targets. This role will have a strong ongoing focus attached to training and developing representatives, with a heavy and consistent focus on hiring, training, and developing successful Account Executives. You will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to align with the broader sales development goals.

This role will focus on ensuring the success and development of EDRs while collaborating closely with leadership to align with the broader goals of the enterprise development organisation. The EDR Manager will report directly to the Regional Sales Director.

What You'll Do
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of Enterprise Development Representatives, providing guidance and support in their role-plays, cold calls, customer calls, and career development.
    • Foster a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages teamwork and individual accountability.
    • Conduct interviews to hire top talent for individual teams and the AAE program.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct and grade weekly EDR role-plays and in-depth training sessions to ensure the sales development of each rep. Responsible for coaching representatives on the execution of role-plays.
    • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to provide clear and actionable feedback to ensure rep improvement.
    • On-boarding - EDR overview.
    • Hire, train, and educate junior graduate employees on B2B relationships, cloud technology, SAAS, and the physical/Cybersecurity space. 
  • Performance Management:
    • Set clear expectations on the goals, process, and promotion guidelines while monitoring their progression. 
    • Utilise key performance indicators (KPIs), role-play scores, and off-the-dash metrics to assess team performance and drive results.
    • Manage the day-to-day operation of the EDR team, including call metrics, emails sent and received, demonstrations scheduled, and performance management where necessary. 
  • Sales Strategy Execution:
    • Collaborate with the VP of Sales Development, Director of EDR, Sr. EDR Managers, and MM Sales Leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, sales operations, recruiting, people's partner team, workplace, and sales enablement to ensure work efficiency.
    • Responsible for hiring goals and promotions with MM Sales Leadership in the perspective office.
    • Share insights and feedback with leadership on team performance, churn, and promotion goals.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field;
  • 1.5 - 2 years of sales experience, focusing on managing or mentoring entry-level sales teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in technology or SaaS sales is a plus.
