Job Description

Provide leadership in Agilent internal or Customer projects as Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Communications, Execution, Closure).

Responsible for actively driving the end-to-end customer engagement in the Enterprise Hardware Solutions portfolio where required. Provides expert knowledge on portfolio, business processes and requirements, and internal company tools. Assists cross functional team in opportunity identification and development. Leads cross functional team through implementation and go-live of successful deal development. Ensures all business processes are executed in compliance to Agilent business standards throughout end-to-end engagement.

Support and drive the profitable growth of the SAJK Enterprise Hardware Solutions business through effective utilization of Agilent internal tools. Identify and reconcile cross functional barriers to doing business through collaborative solution development.

  • Champion positive outcomes for both Agilent and customers by ensuring rigor and effectiveness in executing business processes. Leverage deep understanding of Agilent Enterprise Hardware Solutions portfolio and the needs of customers to enable and support meaningful connections with our customers.

  • Active Engagement in business development activity

- Partnering with Aftermarket Sales team to develop approach by understanding customer needs

- Propose and customize solutions to meet customer needs

- Facilitate development and deployment of custom solutions to customer

- Engagement of partners within Agilent where necessary

  • Lead Customer Engagements end-to-end with customers

- Take on role of Project Manager in customer projects where advanced project management skills are required

- Lead development, planning, execution, and closure of customer projects. This includes

* All operational customer interactions

* Cross functional coordination and communication within Agilent teams

  • Active Engagement in Agilent internal improvement projects

- End-to-end Project management of internal projects

- Lead Scoping, development, planning, execution, and closure of Agilent internal projects

  • Team Leadership

- Ownership of local operational performance

  • Address local operational challenges, develop, implement and document systematic improvements to process and operations where applicable

  • Support broader Enterprise Hardware Solutions and Enterprise Hardware Solutions Speacialists in program/project development and deployment where required

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.

  • PMP, Prince2 or other relevant Project Management certificationns (Nice to Have)

  • Typically 4+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.

  • Demonstrates ability to manage and progress multiple projects of medium to high complexity concurrently.

  • Rigorous work ethic, with strong attention to detail. Must be comfortable handling several different types of information and documentation (technical information, financial information, and contract/agreement type documentation).

  • Able to develop a strong awareness of overarching business, operational, and cross functional needs.

  • Is familiar with the needs of a scientific laboratory at a user and management level.

  • Strong communication In English (listening, written, verbal and digital) and teamwork skills, within an organization and across organizations, as well as wide organizational awareness.

  • Demonstrated ability to move forward in the face of adversity and provide leadership, vision, drive, and innovation to complex situations.
