Summary of This Role

The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for designing and implementing the organization's technology architecture to align IT investments with business objectives. This role defines architectural frameworks, governance, and best practices to optimize enterprise systems, integration, and data strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. The EA collaborates with business and IT teams to develop and execute technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Establish architectural frameworks, standards, and guidelines to support IT initiatives and technology investments.

  • Evaluate and recommend enterprise technologies, platforms, and solutions to enhance business capabilities.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure architectural best practices are followed.

  • Support digital transformation efforts by identifying and promoting emerging technologies that drive business value.

  • Design and oversee the integration of enterprise applications, data, and infrastructure for improved interoperability and efficiency.

  • Contribute to architecture governance processes, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.

  • Participate in architectural reviews, ensuring consistency and adherence to enterprise architecture principles.

  • Assess technology risks and develop mitigation strategies to enhance system resilience.

  • Develop and maintain IT roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategies and enterprise capabilities.

  • Contribute to cost optimization strategies by standardizing and streamlining technology solutions.

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enterprise architecture initiatives.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field
  • Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp
  • Four-year college degree and 6 or more years, and/or a high school diploma with 8 or more years professional experience with full life cycle design and development

  • Master's Degree

  • Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).

  • Job Complexity - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

  • Supervision - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
