We seek a talented and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. This role will translate business objectives and requirements into innovative enterprise solutions to support our operations and back-office applications environment. In addition, this role requires a deep understanding of sophisticated applications and system environments, system integrations, and the automation of business processes to improve operational efficiency, quality, scalability, and resiliency. The ideal candidate will guide the development and implementation of complex architectures that bridge gaps between business processes, technology, and IT capabilities, driving improved performance and strategic outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture strategy focused on our core operational and business systems, utilized by internal and external resources and stakeholders (e.g., CRM, ERP, web technology, etc.).

  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain system and data integrity, performant processing, and scalability.

  • Align architectural initiatives to Amplify’s strategic objectives, ensuring optimal use of technology and resources.

  • Collaborate with technology leadership, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to define the architectural roadmap and integration strategies.

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex integrations between our core application platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.), using both middleware solutions(e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.) or custom API frameworks.

  • Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that leverage the strengths of various platforms to enhance business processes.

  • Ensure seamless data synchronization across platforms, including customer data, financial transactions (e.g., orders, inventory, accounting, etc.), operational activities, master data, and other critical business information that maintains data integrity, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Identify opportunities for system optimization, including automating processes, improving performance, deploying new technology and tools, and enhancing the user experience.

  • Design and implement best practices for managing data quality, governance, and compliance within and across applications and systems.

  • Ensure the system architecture supports best practices and current business needs and is scalable for future growth.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and high coding and development standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, customer experience, and operations, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert by leading technical workshops, design sessions, and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and business goals.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications by working closely with technology and cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and organizational leaders.

  • Coordinate with external technology vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Ensure all solutions comply with relevant security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., role-based access, encryption, system controls, audit trails, etc.).

  • Stay updated with the latest technology, trends, innovations, and best practices, educating and advocating for their adoption when beneficial.


Basic Requirements of the Enterprise Architect:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on business systems platforms.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex system integrations, using a variety of techniques and solutions

  • Extensive technical experience in ERP and CRM systems, with a deep understanding of financial, sales, and operational processes.

  • Proficient with middleware tools such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms.

  • Extensive knowledge of web services, REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to architect scalable, high-performance solutions.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Requirements of the Enterprise Architect:

  • Strong technical expertise in NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk) and Salesforce (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning web components) is desired

  • Certifications such as NetSuite ERP Consultant, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, or relevant architecture certifications.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Familiarity with other tier-1 ERP, CRM, CMS systems, cloud platforms, custom development, and emerging technologies.

  • Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.

  • Capable of working with a mix of in-person, remote, and offshore team members

  • Team player who is also able to operate independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality work

  • Ability to work across several lines of business to achieve long-term organizational goals

  • Interested in teaching and mentoring fellow Amplifiers

  • Experience in education or ed-tech industry

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
