Job Description

Job Profile:

We are hiring an Enterprise Architect to lead the transformation and optimization of the technology stack  supporting Supply Chain and the next-generation ERP transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving our business and IT architecture in this space, ensuring alignment with Bose’s long-range vision, our evolving strategies and market needs.

In this role you will be responsible for defining and aligning technology solutions and roadmaps with key business objectives and KPIs across Supply Chain. You will closely partner with key business stakeholders across functions including supply and demand planning, direct procurement, manufacturing, distribution, reverse logistics, third party oversight, and reporting and analytics to shape the corresponding technology strategy, build the architecture runway, and help plan the delivery of new and decommissioning of legacy capabilities. You will also serve as a key architect on the ERP Next Initiative, shaping the design principles, integration strategy, and data governance that enable process excellence and scalability.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding across the Supply Chain domains, the part they play in the greater Bose value chain, their related business processes, industry trends, and best practices. This individual will also have experience with global contract manufacturing, third-party distribution, and third-party repair operations. The candidate will build relationships and influence, grow collaborative partnerships across and outside the organization, mentor other team members, and consistently act as a catalyst for change. In addition to Supply Chain acumen, the candidate should bring strong experience with ERP ecosystems—ideally having played a key role in ERP transformation or modernization initiatives involving planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, or finance integration.

Specific Responsibilities:

•    Offer consultation to internal stakeholders, guiding them in maximizing the effectiveness of our IT assets.
•    Develop IT solution roadmaps aligned with business capability roadmaps, prioritizing support for current and future business opportunities.
•    Advocate for Bose requirements within IT product roadmaps, suggesting new applications, capabilities, and features to relevant stakeholders.
•    Establish an architectural runway to facilitate the timely implementation of high-priority business epics, features, and stories.
•    Proactively manage technical debt within our application ecosystem to ensure sustainability and enhance business value.
•    Provide strategic oversight and continuous stewardship of IT assets.
•    Define standards and guidelines, ensuring that IT solutions adhere to the global template and optimally leverage development tools.

Required Competencies:

•    Ability to understand the company's goals, processes, and strategies within the Supply Chain domains is essential. This includes comprehending planning, manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and reverse logistics operations as well as the other business processes they relate to.
•    Ability to apply strategic thinking to envision the future state of Supply Chain systems and processes aligned with the organization's long-term objectives. This involves identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
•    Track record of relevant accomplishments in a global company with extensive third-party logistics and contract manufacturing.

•    Deep expertise in ERP architecture and design, including experience leading or supporting ERP transformation (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
•    Having the deep knowledge of enterprise technologies relevant to Supply Chain functions such as ERP systems, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Mangement Systems), and reporting and analytics for understanding performance of third parties in the supply chain.
•    Extremely effective written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders across various departments is crucial for understanding their requirements and explaining technical concepts in non-technical terms.
•    Ability to analyze complex business problems within the Supply Chain domains and develop innovative solutions that leverage technology effectively.
•    Skilled in managing organizational change associated with the implementation of new Supply Chain systems or processes, including training and support for end-users.
•    Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to Supply Chain functions, ensuring that technology solutions comply with legal and ethical standards.
•    Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, vendors, and consultants, to achieve common goals.
•    The technology landscape and business requirements are constantly evolving, so staying updated with emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards is essential for success.

Experience Requirements:

•    10 or more years related work experience with at least 5 years of experience building, deploying and operating Supply Chain-specific solutions, including direct involvement in ERP transformation programs
•    Proven experience in a global company with extensive third-party logistics and contract manufacturing.
•    Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture and Supply Chain technologies are a plus.
•    Hands-on experience with cloud ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics)  and WMS applications is strongly preferred.
•    Strong communication skills, effective at explaining complex concepts to varied audiences and decision makers.
•    Leader with ability to build relationships, inspire, grow, and coach others, and influence without authority.
•    Effective at building collaborative partnerships and navigating organizational structures to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
•    Experience in managing large-scale projects, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

Education/Certification Requirements:

•    Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
